Architect UK
/ Role Summary
​
We are seeking a creative + experienced Architect with in-depth knowledge of mixed-use, residential + commercial projects to join our growing team. You will work in-house with the London team + remotely with the design team in Cyprus. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, pro-active + a team player.
​
/ Responsibilities
​
- Developing design solutions from a client’s brief + working with the client to take the scheme through to permissions + construction with support from more experienced team members as required.
- Communication, coordination + management of consultants, contractors + clients to meet overall project objectives.
- Work with + report daily to the project lead.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive drawing sets from concept through to construction documents.
- You may be required to arrange, attend, chair + minute meetings with clients, consultants, statutory bodies, manufacturers + suppliers as required. This may involve travelling to other premises.
- Strong ability to prepare, develop + edit drawings/models as they relate to the project.
- Deliverables produced in accordance with [A]SQ’s standards.
/ Skills
​
- Strong written + verbal communication skills; fluent in English [spoken + written]
- Solid experience of working within the UK architectural design sector + a good understanding of UK Building Regulations + construction detailing
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD + SketchUp + Adobe CC [Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop].
- Strong conceptual + design skills.
- Proactive + driven individual with the capability of multi-tasking jobs + working with a team to meet deadlines.
/ Experience and Qualifications

- Completion of RIBA / ARB accredited Bachelor's + Master's degree in Architecture
- 2–4 years of experience post-qualification
- Project delivery + on-site experience

Architectural Assistant CY
/ Role Summary
​
We are looking for a talented + enthusiastic Part 1/Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our architectural design studio in Cyprus. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of existing projects, including strategic visions + masterplans, mixed-use + residential design + project delivery.
​
/ Responsibilities
​
- Contribute, or otherwise assist, as required by the architectural team.
- Seek to understand the design project, assisting with formulating the brief + communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required.
- Use the guidance of the project leader or nominated architect to prepare, develop + edit the drawings, models, images + other documents relating to the project.
- When required, create representations of design options for the design team + generate detailed 3D models to develop all parts of the changing design process.
- Deliverables produced in accordance with [A]SQ’s standards.
/ Skills
​
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in English + Greek [spoken + written]
- Good working knowledge of Cyprus + regional building systems, regulations + construction types
- Proficiency in Revit + AutoCAD
- Ability to drive the content + the final presentation of project documentation using SketchUp, InDesign + Photoshop.
- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage one’s own time.
- Proactivity and taking initiative in response to direction or instruction
