[A]SQ. / Our Story.
Founded in 2020 by our co-founding directors, we are architects + interior designers based in London, UK + Nicosia, Cyprus. We are a young, energetic + innovative Chartered Practice with considerable range of experience on projects varying from award-winning gymnasiums to masterplans, luxury residential + boutique hotels.
At [A]SQ. Architecture we are not led by a single design ‘style’ that we implement into every project. Instead, we have a style of working: one that is less about us and more about you. We pride ourselves on having a very personal approach, taking time to understand how each project will be used + lived in. We believe that working together to create exceptional places + spaces, we can make a positive + inspirational contribution to society + future generations.
We are especially interested in the connection between architecture + humanity: an architecture of experience + place-making. As designers, our role is to ensure cohesion
+ connectivity by bringing together nature + human activity with architecture + urban elements. This creates a design narrative that connects communities with their context by encouraging them to engage.

Alexander is the co-founding director of [A]SQ. Architecture.
He sets + drives the design direction + corporate strategy of
the company whilst leading the studio’s UK projects.Alexander
is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects [RIBA] as well as a registered member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber [ETEK].
Over the last decade, Alexander has worked at some of the most prominent + prestigious London architectural studios. During this time, he has managed complex projects from inception to completion in the UK + Europe, working alongside a number of high-profile private sector clients. His portfolio includes schemes that vary in scale across numerous sectors, including commercial office, residential, leisure + hotels.
His skills range from developing the initial brief + delivering conceptual work to detailed design + then managing projects onto completion. Alexander’s particular expertise is in front-end design, utilising fully coordinated 3D digital modelling + visualisation whilst working closely with the client, consultants + contractors to detail + realise extraordinary architecture.
Alexander’s warm + charismatic nature is matched by an uncompromising passion for detail + quality.
Founder + Director

Angelina is the co-founding director of [A]SQ. Architecture who is responsible for the overall creative output of the company + leading A[SQ].’s international projects. A Greek-Cypriot born in London who
studied both in Rome + the UK, Angelina is experienced in a wide
range of design styles + has gained a deep understanding of the requirements + expectations in different cultures + climates. This,
together with her passion for detail adds great value to any project
she undertakes.
With over ten years of professional experience Angelina initially worked
at a top design-led London studio where she gained a wealth of knowledge in luxury residential + boutique hotel projects. Following that she moved to
a UK contractor to boost experience of large commercial projects, their technical aspects + procurement.
Angelina is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects [RIBA] as well as a registered member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber [ETEK]. As both an architect + interior architect, Angelina’s ability to understand every aspect of the design process ensures she is perfectly positioned to help support clients throughout their journey with [A]SQ.
In 2020 Angelina co-founded [A]SQ. Architecture with Alexander Cook
as a small boutique practice dedicated to creating high quality homes, workplaces + commercial buildings. Since its creation, the company has grown into an international practice with offices in London + Cyprus expanding into Leisure, Hospitality + Masterplanning sectors.
Associate
/ BA [Hons]. MA Arch. ETEK
Alexandros is an architect with a diverse local + international background. Holding a Bachelor's degree from the University of Brighton + a Master's from KU Leuven, he combines contemporary design principles with a deep understanding of the Cypriot context.
His professional experience is notably varied, having contributed to projects at one of Cyprus's largest architectural firms, a boutique design studio, + a UK-based practice. This has given him extensive expertise across a wide spectrum of programs + scales, from large-scale developments to bespoke, detail-oriented designs.
When not in the studio he likes to cycle, work out or doing anything fun.
Architect

Nour is an architectural designer originally from Beirut, Lebanon, + currently based in Cyprus, where she completed her Master’s degree in Architecture at the University of Nicosia (UNIC).
Her approach to design is grounded in a deep appreciation for clean lines, honest materials + spatial experiences that evoke both calm + curiosity. She is particularly drawn to minimalist architecture where simplicity, proportion + light come together to create spaces that feel both refined + meaningful. Nour finds inspiration in her travels, constantly observing how culture, context + atmosphere shape the built environment in unique + thoughtful ways.
Beyond architecture, she also explores design on a smaller scale through creative side projects, including high-end jewellery design - an outlet that reflects her refined aesthetic + attention to detail.
Her style blends minimalism with unexpected moments of contrast, always seeking beauty that is quiet, elegant + enduring.
Architect
M.Arch. M.Sc. ETEK
Pantelis is an architectural designer with a background in computational design + sustainable innovation, holding an MSc in Architectural Computation from University College London + an Integrated Master’s in Architecture from the University of Cyprus.
With experience across Cyprus + abroad, he has contributed to projects spanning from adaptive systems to complex architectural designs, combining computational thinking with a creative design sensibility.
His current interests focus on the integration of artificial intelligence in architectural design, exploring how emerging technologies can enhance creativity + performance in the built environment.
Outside the studio, Pantelis can often be found on the
tennis court or immersed in a good book.
Architectural Designer
/ BA [Hons] - RIBA
Teodora loves to draw + to create. An architectural designer [RIBA Part I] with a passion for drawing, creating, + exploring the intersections of art + architecture. Born in Romania and educated in the United Kingdom at the University of Sheffield, she is now based in Cyprus, bringing with her an international perspective shaped by living + working across different cultural contexts.
Her journey has reinforced her belief that architecture is not only about space but also about people - a reflection of heritage, history + individuality.
With this in mind, Teodora approaches each project with respect for personal preferences + a commitment to designing spaces that embody the beliefs, passions + character of those who inhabit them. She is particularly drawn to geometry + technology, using them as tools to merge precision with creativity + maintains a strong commitment to sustainability, integrating principles of environmental performance + resource efficiency into every project.
Beyond the studio, her passions for painting, drawing + discovering new places continue to enrich her creative vision, weaving together art, people + lived experience in every project she undertakes.
